Twenty years after making their iconic turns as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine in the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 phenomenon that defined a generation.
The film reunites the original main cast with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, and introduces an all-new runway of characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Conrad Ricamora. Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles as “Lily” and “Irv” from the first film.
“The Devil Wears Prada 2” is produced by Wendy Finerman, and executive produced by Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt and Aline Brosh McKenna. The film debuts exclusively in theaters May 1.

OMG!!!!!!! I am trying not to cry 🥹. Finally a part 2, when I went to AIU buckhead (Atlanta) GA, this movie was everything to my sweetmates (roommates) and I. I am overly excited to see this move. I love me some Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway 🫶🏽💜🫶🏽 👑👑. This just made my women’s history month even better 😌.

Oh my word, when did trailers stop telling potential viewers what the movie was actually going to be? I loved the first movie but the 'trailers' (use that word with broad pen if you have to use it) for this second don't entice first time viewers and tell absolutely nothing on the plot. Why is a strong minded Miranda portrayed like she has dementia, why is Andy back, why is Emily not at Runway, why did the PR dept try so hard to produce a trailer set that does not sell the movie itself? It is all so forced feeling. It is like they are just counting on ticket sales because they flashed some names.
How pathetic has hollywood gotten, smh

i need to know why Miranda is RUNNING in that penultimate shot. given that this is a sequel to Devil Wears Prada i fully expect some scheming so i wonder if she drags Andy into it this time.
