I love when people stand up for themselves. I love when an asshole gets what’s coming to them.
All this has taught me is that we should always reserve judgement in these minor altercation cases because we as the public really don’t know. By the time we’ve pulled out our pitchforks and lit the torches the truth may be a complete 180 from what riled everyone up in the first place

A similar situation in my neighborhood happened last weekend. Some kids were riding their dirt bikes (honestly, they are little assholes, but following all the road laws like stopping and weren’t speeding) but this old man started yelling at them so they flipped him off.
He proceeded to try to run them over with his truck and called the cops, who of course sided with old man even though several other adults were outside and witnessed the whole thing, he almost plowed into another group of kids (one of which was mine) that were riding their bikes around. My husband almost beat the shit out of that old dude. His response nearly killed someone simply because he was mad kids were on dirt bikes.
That neighbor cannot be in his right mind if he looked at a man built like a blonde rhinoceros and thought, sure, why not start some shit

I mean…..Alan has been one of the most surprisingly sane celebrities we’ve had in a hot minute. I couldn’t see him just getting physical in front of his kids to act all macho
Also, he was ahead guiding his boys on mini-bikes, so the neighbor’s claim of him speeding recklessly is kinda BS.
From the moment I read that the neighbor was constantly complaining about noise due to him riding through the neighborhood, I called shenanigans.
There are better ways to deal with that than approaching someone.

Gaurentee you he was only doing the speed limit, and his asshat neighbour has no fucking clue what constitutes a dangerous speed when just watching a bike go past. He just heard the exhaust and thought “that must be too quick”.
