I noticed this when watching the in memoriam at award shows and other tributes but 2025 was truly one tough year in terms of many of the people who entertained us leaving the planet. It seems like we’re losing a lot recently as time goes by,a very sad part of life. Many of these stars did live long lives (Bob Redford,Gene Hackman) while others left us much too soon (Julian McMahon,Michelle Trachtenberg). This is done as a tribute to those who left us last year and nothing else. May their memories be a blessing.

It felt like many of these were extra horrifying or shocking ways for people to go too. Reminded me of 2016 to a degree

I thought I was chronically online but this post is how I found out 3 of these people died

James Ransone was the one that really broke me. It was one of those things where you could see it looming and you hoped against hope that things wouldn’t end that way. And then they did.

When Virginia Madsen posted something about the death of her brother Michael… I genuinely had no clue that they were siblings. I know I know the last name but still it was a surprise to me.Ā

Anyways RIP to all of them.Ā

My dad wasn’t a celebrity but he died unexpectedly from an ulcer rupturing so I heavily co-sign that 2025 fucking sucked and was a very sad year on top of many others. 2026 is also currently shaping up to be very sad but maybe we’ll all be blown up and not have to deal with anything anymore. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøĀ

Did any of the memorials mention Dame Patricia Routledge? I don’t think I saw her at all ā˜¹ļø

  7. Some legitimate creative geniuses in this group. Brian Wilson, David Lynch. I mean goddamn, man.

I said ā€œfuck I forgot they diedā€ a few times because that info got lost in the mess that 2025 news was.

It was a very long year 😭

  9. I don’t think I’ll ever get over Diane Keaton. She’s in so many movies I grew up with. I don’t dislike her in anything.

Idk how else to explain it except that every movie of hers felt like home to me.

Shout out to everyone who lost someone this past year or recently. Y’all matter too!

Slide 13 is sending me. Everyone else has their career title listed. ā€œGeneral Hospitalā€ seems like such a low key dig at soap stars ā˜ ļø
