      Interesting. Part of Zidler’s whole schtick was that he was a bit of a bumbling fool; Jim Broadbent singing “Like a Virgin” will never stop showing up in random repeats in my brain, but what made it so good was the contrast with his character.

      This version seems to cast Zidler as more of The Emcee kind of character.

      this is such a serve; it almost makes up for the fact that the show is a very, very bad adaptation of the movie

      I thought she was bigger than doing a washed up Broadway role like Valerie Cherish but guess not

      Has anyone infused as much raw charisma and sex appeal into a role as Megan seems to be? Other than Tim Curry in Rocky Horror, I can’t think of anyone.
