I usually don’t care about celebrity opinions but he has been studying our health care “system” for decades and this is a solution that works in every other industrialized country in world (except Iran they use a system like ours). So yeah I agree Noah.

    2. Didn’t obamacare try to help people, but then people claimed it did more damage than good?

“We are pleased to announce that ICE agents will be available to anyone in need of medical care for free!”

    4. Because we should have it

Every major first world country has universal healthcare

We are the richest country in the world

By that metric alone; we can afford it

      You deserve healthcare

    5. It’s pretty simple. You pay a tax and you’re covered for health care. It’s run by the state you live in. If your state mismanages it you vote them out.

    6. Everyone wants it except for the awful old men who know the only reason their wives stay with them is because of how difficult it is to get health care without them.

    7. The one TV doctor who knows his shit. He got arrested in 2012 for protesting against the abysmal healthcare system. I’m glad he gets to teach people the harsh realities of healthcare through The Pitt.

    8. I think it’s great but it’s also funny that because he plays a doctor on tv that his voice should resonate on the issue.

    9. Awesome, good for him. We need more celebrities calling for actual change when they have the platforms to do so.

Agreez Medicare for all. It’s already here and could be scaled to cover every American citizen.

Well that’s nice. How does “John Wick” star Keanu Reeves feel about gun control? Is he “calling for” it?

Okay, but how will we get a US moon base if we have to pay for universal healthcare? /s

    13. That should be reparations to the country from our government for putting us thru all this bullshit.

    14. Yeah. With a far right SCOTUS and at best 50-50 senate- ain’t going to happen. Even if Bernie had been elected it wouldn’t have happened. If it gets democrats out to vote I guess you can keep calling for whatever. But seriously- we are in too a deep jam to spend much time on this dreamy hope.

    15. Random dipshit redditor here. I also call for it along with universal basic income and guillotines for billionaires.

Pretty sure Teddy Roosevelt did as well. Even the damn republicans can’t believe they’re still getting away with this shit.

    17. Too many people getting rich for this to change, unless citizens united is overturned. Good luck w that.

Until there’s a decisive move to remove big money from politics we’re stuck this way.

Its too bad he’s not John Cater with the Carter fortune to lobby politicians with….

You’ll have better chances of reviving Santa Claus than having the current regime spend a penny on healthcare.

    20. If the majority of people want it and voting matters, why doesn’t America already have it?
