Savannah Guthrie’s Missing Mom: ‘Today’ Anchor Sobs ‘in Agony’ in First Interview With Hoda Kotb

Savannah Guthrie sits down with Hoda Kotb on ‘Today’ for her first interview since the abduction of her 84-year-old mom, Nancy, in February. Through sobs, Savannah explains how she and her family are ‘in agony’ thinking about what their mother went through the night she was kidnapped from her Tucson, Arizona home. Nearly three months into the case, inverstigators haven’t named any suspects. The FBI, Savannah’s family and others are still offering a reward totaling up to $1.2 million for the recovery of Nancy and/or an arrest and conviction.

  1. Very sad.

Catch this person or persons possibly on Satellite. To see what was going on. Before and after.
One might be going out to get food or gas, late at night.

One might still be working. Possibly at a construction site. If that's what they did, before.

If they are staying at or near a vacant house. Possibly, to wash or use the restroom.

The electricity and water company would know, when the power was turned on.

  2. My Mom died of natural causes and I grieved for years. I cannot imagine how I could live not knowing what my mom would have gone through and to never know what happened. It's almost enough that I wouldn't feel like living.

  3. I pray to God that Mrs. Guthrie is found regardless of what her condition is. I hope and I pray that those monsters responsible for taking this poor lady is brought to justice. You have to be the lowest of the lowest to harm an innocent 84 year old woman like this.

  4. Savannah is the highest paid newscaster. And constantly in the media spotlight. And she put her mom in that spotlight to. Never let your guard down. Doors locked and security Cameras working. She let the world know where mom lived and she lived alone. Was there for 50. Years and she felt safe there.

  5. He or they might be getting food delivered next door. Late at night.
    Not where they are at.

Or, one is going out to get food or gas. Late at night.

  6. I’m sorry it’s just hard to really believe how many times have you seen a person get on camera and do this very thing fake crocodile tears, and they end up being a part of it

  7. Don’t believe this sheriff has done any good. He gives off a certain negative energy. Dogs should have been deployed at once along with drones. What can you expect from him…
