      Reminder: Donald Trump voted by mail in ballot. Despite saying it should be illegal and the fact he lived 15 mins from the voting place.

      Passports issued now will also reflect one’s birth gender and not the gender which may be on one’s ID, which may also be an obstacle for trans women.

      So even having a passport is not enough enough for some people.

      The flipside of this is I’m wondering if right-wing women become more likely to get passports to vote (yes they exist unfortunately), and thus become more likely to travel, maybe they’ll gain some additional perspective

      I nearly reminded my mother to apply for passport so that she could vote.
      But then I remembered who she voted for.
      Nope!
