🎶There’s a lot of flag burners who have got too much freedom
I wanna make it legal for policemen, to beat em
Cause there’s limits to our liberty, at least I hope and pray that there are
Cause these liberal freaks, goooo to faaaaaarrr🎶

  2. I’m Gen Z, but my Gen X parents used to play this and all of the Schoolhouse Rock clips in our household growing up 🤍

One of my faves. Serious question, do they still make similar entertaining educational cartoons for kids? If so what are they?

  6. Hi Bill, I’m Donnie. Your toast. Unless you donate to one of my various endeavors.

I think about this ALL the time and the fact that it’s not relevant anymore.

I think the two little bills in the presidential queue are “Billy” and a *rider,* which is an unrelated provision that’s tacked to increase the chance of approval, or because it’s someone’s pet project appropriation, amendment, etc.

Also, the singer was Jack Sheldon, who also sang Conjunction Function. Fantastic voice and voice characterization.

Since I was a kid, I’ve always wondered what the argument against this law was (school busses must stop at traffic crossings) that they are arguing about in the video. Like who’s lobbying to have busses plowing through railroads??

  10. I ran the garden for a dispensary chain once. There was a law standing in the way of us making money. We paid a lobbyist to bring up the issue. After about a year of paying the law was changed. Saw it with my own eyes. It was unbelievably disheartening to learn the country is so cut and dry like that. Mf playland for the rich and powerful.
