OpenAI shut down SORA. Disney cancelled their deal to buy OpenAI because of it. Sora was not profitable its entire existence. It costed way too much energy and resources to generate a whole lot of videos that simply weren't valuable (all the memes that people made weren't worth it). Honestly, AI needs to stay away from the arts space. A lot of people, myself included, thinks it's hot garbage and feels hallow. Like I hate looking at a graphic and knowing straight up no care went into designing it Congratulations. You replaced a real human to make faster, shittier looking art. All in the name of a quick buck.
