‘Hannah Montana’ 20th Anniversary: Why Emily Osment Missed Celebration
Emily Osment, who played Miley Stewart’s BFF Lilly on the Disney Channel show, explained her absence from the ‘Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special’ and celebration on Instagram, revealing her work commitment at her current show, ‘Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage,’ kept her from attending the Hollywood premiere with Miley Cyrus on Tuesday. Mitchel Musso, who played Oliver, also missed out on the event, but posted to his own IG with a message for the fans. The ‘Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special’ is now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

Emily Osment helped make Hannah Montana a sensation on Disney along with Miley Cyrus so her not being in the special didn’t feel like a reunion!
i think jason earles was more than game to be on the special, there should have been more of the cast included, this show no only had the best pop superstar, but also maybe the best supporting cast on a disney channel show, just about every character was memorable and had great personalities and had some dimension to them as well. Also the special should have been at least 2 hours, one was not nearly enough, but it was beautiful nonetheless.
Mitchell literally said he wanted to be there because he needed a check. What a literal idiot. Emily not being there is the worst. But Oliver was stupid, irrelevant, and really did not contribute like nobody tuned in excited to see Oliver.
