For 95% of voice acting work, if you're doing it right, you will look ridiculous and cringe. Your WHOLE body gets involved. Face, limbs, everything. A lot of famous voice actors have talked about how disheartening it is seeing younger voice actors new to the scene be SO neevous to look cringe and embarassing. And trying to SOUND animated and over the top without LOOKING animated and ridiculous just doesnt work.
