AOC responds to political commentor Ana Kasparian implying she voted to fund Israel: I never have. Feel free to continue lying publicly, though. Those checks don’t cash themselves and you aren’t talented enough to be relevant with the truth.

As a leftist YouTube enjoyer over the past 10 years, the downfall of Ana has been a sight to behold

  2. Silver_Juggernaut_39 on

I really hate that AOC felt the need to respond to someone who said this MONTH “the goyim are waking the fuck up” after she’s already pivoted to the far right ghouls that watch Fuentes and Tucker through her “progressive” media outlet on The Young Turks

As an Armenian born to immigrant parents, I really wanted to look up to Ana Kasparian as a voice of reason in politics but she has sadly just gone down the rabbit hole.

  4. SimilarLaw5172 on

Ana is a hack but ‘you arent talented enough to be relevant with the truth’ doesn’t make much sense to me lol

  5. No_Paramedic_9525 on

Aoc belieives in the right of existence of state of israel . Ana doesnt this isnt gotcha moment tht you guys are thinking

  6. NewRapIsLargelyTrash on

AOC voted against defunding the Iron Dome. Some people see that like giving a school shooter a bulletproof vest. Others don’t really see a defense system as a “weapon” in the technical sense. Israel sucks, AOC isn’t above criticism, Ana is a grifter. It’s all true.

  7. Prestigious_Acadia49 on

Ana holds so much energy for Khuzzah but never says ANYTHING about Ukraine

  8. EatMyShortzZzZzZ on

She didnt vote yes on the weapons bill to Israel. She did vote against an amendment to cut $500 mil in funding for Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense, which is almost as cowardly for someone who claims to be a pro Palestinian representative

  9. But she did vote for it though. She is hiding behind the fake distinction of “offensive” and “defensive” weapons.

  10. justlookin-0232 on

Yeh AOC voted to send defensive weapons to the Iron Dome. It was a shit move. But in terms of who is valuable to the left AOC is leaps and bounds beyond the TYT woman that literally takes money from Polymarket. She actually said in 2024 on TYT that she doesn’t think Trump wants to be a dictator and that he doesn’t qualify as a fascist because “January 6 wasn’t successful”. And now she’s on TYT saying she’s sorry and he’s absolutely a fascist. Ana K can fuck off and take her Polymarket Trump slopping money with her. She’s getting paid to be a wrecking ball for the left.

Didn’t she literally vote for a bill sending funds for Israeli defense? Am I tripping?

  12. Pure_Interest_837 on

I like AOC but she’s playing semantics here. She didn’t vote directly *for* it, but she didn’t vote for a bill that would block funding for it.

  13. So sadly they are both wrong here. Anas wrong for respond like this to an objectively good quote. But AOC is wrong because she voted against amendment to block 500m funding to Israel

  14. TraditionalHotel8085 on

Ana is thrash, but voting to keep funding for the Iron Dome is basically voting for Israel defense which helps their offensive operations in the region, they never have to worry too much about retaliation cause their defensive munitions are constantly getting restocked by the Americans

Is Ana back to being a leftist again? I guess the right wing circus wasn’t profitable enough for her

  16. solidsnake4933 on

Ana is a grifter and AOC voted to send weapons to Israel. Both can be true.

  17. monkey-kong666 on

    I don’t get this.

Ana is awful, but AOC has been very clear about her funding of Israel and its ‘defensive’ wars. AOC ain’t it folks

  18. I don’t want to get into the semantics of offensive vs. defensive weapons.

But I would like to point out the hypocrisy of every Democrat who’s pushed us to Vote Blue No Matter Who, that their whole argument is that we have to put aside our valid complaints with individual politicians and see the bigger picture. But they can’t do the same when they have a chance to stop a genocide.

So I have a serious problem with so-called progressives such as AOC getting outflanked from the right on Israel. Can’t bring yourself to vote for a measure by MTG that would actually halt Israel’s ability to bomb all of their neighbors with impunity? Then introduce your own legislation goddammit! Don’t give us some hollow BS about how you “throw down for Palestinians” while allowing them to be massacred.

This is a genocide, and every Democrat who materially supports Israel is partially to blame for the empowerment of the far-right in the US. Don’t like Ana Kasparian, Tucker Carlson, etc? Well you’re kind of letting them run circles around you and exposing yourself as a hypocrite. I’m done with weak ass Democrats, show some God damn leadership, have some courage for once.

AOC hasn’t voted to send them money for arms. She has abstained from voting and cried about it .

She also voted to continue to fund the iron dome last year. I’m remember someone commented about how it was like giving a school shooter a bulletproof vest.

Ana is wrong and if she’s a political commentator she shouldn’t have said what was factually incorrect. AOC is one of the best US reps on Israel because shes not bought by AIPAC but she should be questioned on her voting record . Questioned correctly

this is simply the last twitter beef on earth I would’ve anticipated back in, like, 2018

  21. let’s not cut aoc a break cause Ana is worst ive been pretty disappointed in her and Bernie thier silence was deafening during some of the more tight progressive election campaigns we’ve seen.

  22. A reason why I’ve checked out of popular leftist spaces is because you’re not allowed to call out the darlings of the left when they stray from their own message.

If we aren’t allowed to call out when **our** “representatives “, stop *representing* our interests…

Aren’t we just allowing ourselves collectively to slide toward the center by consistently accepting this “lesser evil” as your savior.

It’s shitty to be called maga by the people you support. You start feeling really alienated when “your team” starts calling you a paid bot…instead of engaging the discourse, run people off and where will your allies be when you need them? I’d much rather rely on community than a politician, idc how much they say what I wanna hear.

It’s the people who move mountains in this country. Not the politicians.

Did she vote NO on Marjorie Taylor Greene’s AMENDMENT to stop funding for defensive capabilities? Yes…

Did she also vote NO on the actual BILL that the amendment was attached to? Yes.

I personally don’t think it really matters that AOC voted no on amendment to a bill that she was always going to vote no on.
