The eyebrows that we all plucked into oblivion. So happy mine grew back.

Love how “back then” people were so casual, natural, not retouched to death, had “flaws”
.

  2. As someone who was a teen in the 90s, I appreciate the women in the list were certainly IT girls but let’s not forget some IT black girls of the time, such as:

    Tyra Banks
    Naomi Campbell
    Janet Jackson
    Lil Kim
    Brandy
    Aaliyah
    Jada Pinkett
    Nia Lon

    To name a few.

  4. Hang on- I was in my 20s in the 90s. If these gals were in their 20s in the 90s too, are they in their 50s now like I am??? đŸ˜±đŸ˜±đŸ˜±

I know literally every generation goes on about the era of their childhood as ‘the good old days’ and therefore this is not an original thought.. but I truly miss the 90s/early noughties so much.

I hate how complex and perfectionist our lifestyles have become now. More time on screens and way more made-up ways to hate ourselves and our bodies.

90s weren’t perfect at all (diet culture, heroin chic) but I miss seeing normal noses, teeth, eyebrows plucked to an inch of their lives, sagging skin, cellulite, real shit!

Women having natural expressions and not those dead-in-the-eye looking into the camera like a model is nice to see.
