Jennifer Lopez’s Kamala Harris Endorsement Is Even Worse Than You Think

Jennifer Lopez’s endorsement of Kamala Harris sounds powerful—but does it actually say anything meaningful? What does it unintentionally reveal about modern political rhetoric and celebrity endorsements?

This video takes a close look at Lopez’s emotional appeals, buzzwords, and “us vs. them” framing to examine whether they help people make informed political decisions—or do the exact opposite.

From claims about “unity vs. division” to what “anyone of decent character” should believe—and what it means to be “progressive” and “inclusive”—this analysis tests whether these ideas hold up under scrutiny or fall apart when examined more closely. By comparing Lopez’s statements to real-world context and Harris’s own speeches and interviews, the video explores whether the message is as straightforward as it seems—or full of contradictions.

This video has an educational purpose. It offers tools to recognize these rhetorical patterns in politics, media, and everyday conversations.

As an analysis and commentary, this video is made according to the principles of ‘fair use’: (17 U.S. Code § 107): “Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work (…) for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (…) is not an infringement of copyright.”

    1. I removed the old version of this video over six months ago, but given the current climate and all the persuasion-heavy speeches and debates happening now, I wanted to revisit Lopez’s revealing endorsement of Kamala Harris. This brand new analysis, with comparisons to statements made by Kamala Harris and Rachel Zegler, is more relevant than ever and offers tools to recognize rhetorical techniques in politics, media, and everyday conversations. I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to share if you think someone else might benefit from it.

    2. Jennifer Lopez is a lizard in a skin suit. Remember when "Jenny from the block" went back to the block and nobody remembered her? Thank God we didn't end up burdened with what might have been…

    3. I'd take her more seriously if it wasn't for the fact she did not actually sing on some of her hits and lip syncs at her concerts. I cannot accept endorsements from fake people.

    4. I am American. I'm a gay man. I don't think there's much homophobia in America. I am 45, so I remember a time when America really was homophobic.

    5. J. Lo says women should be able to choose what they want for their own bodies. In the lockdown, I couldn't choose to not wear a mask.

    6. ALL AND EVERY politician/activist use rhetoric. "a chicken in every pot, a car in every garage, etc etc" . empty bloviating word salads.
this has been the case since the beginning of time.

    7. How so, Kamala, how are LGBT rights under attack? WHAT rights specifically are you referring to? Care to share with the people whose vote you’re seeking?

    8. I love these anayses, important work by Martin. J-Lo is 56 and forces herself to maintain the look of a 20 year old, through surgery and needles. She can't stand a single wrinkle, even in her late 50's. That's how superficiality vs substance is prioritized by her.

    9. AH..the people who wants to destroy the lives of all Trump supporters and MAGA, sure, they love their neighbors, they embody the love just like their candidate's they support😂
WHEN LOPEZ SAYING HELPING PEOPLE GET A"HEAD" I honestly thought it was a Diddy party reference 😂

    10. Lopez forgot to mention that the Democrats view the audience as sheep whom they wish to tax more so that they can spend the people's money on more government employees and their favourite ideological projects, as well as actively discriminating against certain demographics like white men.

    11. She believes in the 'power of Hispanics', well, I believe in the 'power of Whites', the people who walked on the moon, but I'm a terrible racist while she's an upstanding humanitarian.
Everyone is allowed to have a 'community' and to advocate for their 'community', except White people, no 'community' for you
