A tiny, elusive chanteuse predator hiding in Chile’s rugged countryside has finally been snapped after a long time away from the spotlight: the mysterious colocolo, the country’s only endemic feline.
New intel gathered by the Colocolo Conservation Project and Carlos Castro-Pastene pinned Chile’s Most Wanted Furball down to the Andean country central bushland, giving wildlife paparazzo, Francisco Andrés Gómez, the chance to capture this rare star in action.
Shy, silent, and finally in the spotlight, this rare feline is a star worth protecting.
