      There were a lot of songs that sounded like this in 2020-2021 especially after “Say So” became such a massive hit!

      This went platinum for me though, sad it’s not on streaming.

      Comparison not necessary. Even with a simple pop song dove’s depth subtly shows itself in all aspects of her art. Haunted, but confident in this detached &also don’t give af sort of way.

      I’m so mad Dove took her pre-Boyfriend songs off streaming. This would be like if Selena Gomez decided to take all of Selena Gomez & The Scene off streaming because it “wasn’t her anymore.”

      Sorry to break it to you but music hasn’t had distinction for like the last twenty years. Like there is distinction between decades but within those decades basically everything sounds the same.

      My daughter listens to espresso a lot. I hear similarities but its not a 1 to 1.

      This doesn’t sound like Espresso.

      Espresso is a good song performed by a talented singer, not a track that could be easily confused for slop generated by an AI trained on the wrong frequency 🤭

      Maybe in the music but the vocals remind me of Mystical Magical and Good Luck, Babe.

      Good song though; I’m thankful for this post & the comments b/c now I know I want disco pop for days!
