I have to say, I really feel for these boys. As much empathy as people have for Britney Spears, it’s hard to ignore that she hasn’t always been a stable presence in their lives. That’s not me taking Kevin Federline’s side either, because he clearly has his own issues. But if you take a step back and remove the celebrity from it, these are just two kids who grew up with a parent dealing with serious mental health struggles, trauma, and possible substance issues. That’s a lot for any child to navigate. They didn’t ask to be here and they didn’t ask to grow up in this circus.
These kids need a life of anonymity.
Because they want to keep getting money from their mom now they are over 18?
I hope her kids don’t use her for her millions. And, I hope her sons see all the pain and hurt their father and Britney’s family put her through. Brit has issues for sure. She wasn’t perfect. But, the conservatorship really screwed her up more.( She needed it. But when she seemed to be improving after a few years they should have lessen many of the things on it to give her, her life back ) You can say now it’s her fault she doesn’t seem to take initiative to change and get better.Although how she was made to live and decisions on her own body pushed her to where she is now. It’s sad all around really for Britney and for the kids.
I feel like her kids are old enough to recognize the flaws in both of their parents and make their own choices. Britney had severe mental health issues and it seems like her bonding with her children was undermined to allow both her dad and Kevin to stay in control. Kevin never got proper employment and used his children as a paycheck to pay for a luxurious lifestyle for himself, their shared children, his wife, and also his other children, then as soon as he needed extra money he wrote a memoir. I’m not giving him any dad trophies. I’m happy their son seems to be building a relationship with Britney and hopefully he still has a good relationship with his dad as well.
