    1. Geez Joy millions of people said the same thing about Biden so what makes you think you are right and they were wrong. Oh I guess that's called democracy.

    2. Good job Carrie. I wish the black singer from 2016 would sue. They need to sue DL Hughly, Rickey Smiley and Steve Harvey

    3. FALSE.

      From Snopes:

Starting in January 2025, posts and videos surfaced on social media alleging that country singer Carrie Underwood was suing the daytime talk show "The View" for $800 million over comments made about her on the show. However, these posts didn't provide any evidence to corroborate the claim. The assertion was unfounded.

The clips surfaced after Underwood announced she would perform at U.S. President Donald Trump's inauguration, and hosts of the show shared their thoughts during an early January episode of the show.

The unfounded rumor appears to have come from a video by the channel OkayRickk with the caption, "Carrie Underwood SUES The View Host Joy Behar After She Said This On Set About Her Supporting Trump." In the video, which had been viewed more than 380,000 times as of writing, the host reacted to a clip of "The View" hosts talking about Underwood's then-upcoming performance at Trump's inauguration.

The video's host started by saying that people were "boycotting and cancelling Carrie Underwood for performing at Trump's inauguration." Later in the video, the host called for "The View" co-host Joy Behar to "shut [her] f***ing mouth" so that the show could avoid lawsuits — that was the only reference to a lawsuit against "The View" brought up in the video itself, and the creator never stated the lawsuit was for $800 million.

However, several more recent YouTube videos sharing the rumor did claim Underwood was suing for $800 million (or even more). Those videos had over 450,000 views at time of writing. Posts on Facebook also shared the rumor.

There was no evidence online to support the assertion that Underwood was suing "The View" in the first place. If it was true, reputable entertainment news outlets would have interviewed parties involved and documented the ordeal. That had not happened. The claim was only present in the headline and appeared to be made up from whole cloth for the purpose of gaining clicks, or views, online — in other words, it was highly effective clickbait.

Despite the fact that the video's underlying claim was unfounded, the idea that Underwood was suing "The View" could seem believable because the show did discuss her decision to perform at Trump's inauguration. Combining that true information with the emotionally charged language used in the video is a common way baseless celebrity rumors can generate hundreds, or thousands, of comments from YouTube users. Some of those messages indicate that people interpret the videos to be real news.

    4. Love Carrie but being at the inauguration is what cost her. She might have had the best of motives but she should have weighed the costs before she did it. Don’t care about the View except to say that the response was predictable.

    5. Several new sources dispute this claim and state that Miss Underwood is NOT suing The View. Don’t believe every Tom Dick or Harry who tells you something you want to hear. Do your own research.

    6. If that's all joy said she said "I personally wouldn't.." thats her opinion. Im so tired of BOTH sides, suing and claiming defamation for people's opinion. Its no secret that the view is left. Of course theyre going to be against Trump. Its a risk that they won't agree with you. What the general public does as a result of their opinion, is a public problem.

The public reaction is the same on both sides. Its gross.

    7. If I had a dollar for Everytime someone said this show was getting cancelled I'd be rich! The owners of that show love that everyone argues on their show, they get off on it.

    8. CARRIE CAUSED HER SALES TO PLUMMETT DUE TO HER STINT ON IDOL AND THE PERFORMANCE @ THE INAUGURATION. I miss the little country girl Carrie. When she was NOBODY.
      She won't win this suit.

    9. So Joy says she can’t sing because she isn’t a singer. She is supposedly a Comedianne, yet she isn’t funny. Sunny also said she can’t sing & isnt a singer. She professes to be a lawyer. Hmmm, she mustn’t be a good one, because her husband was indicted for alleged crime of fraud. You woulda thunk she woulda told him that’s a big no-no. Don’t worry Whoopie, Joy, & Sunny. Just exercising my First Amendment rights as a non-influential nobody.

    10. I’m just disgusted and disappointed that democrats hate America and Americans that have a different opinions, what happened to free speech and United we stand and divided we fall! Liberals want us to fall and FAIL as America. Sad but true, One day America you’re gonna wake up and look around and you’re going to see Chinese and Muslims that are going to be leading America and we’re no longer going to be a free world. 💪❤️🇺🇸
