    #PretendCookingShow: Ginger Snaps

I was raised by all of Rolling Hills neighborhood, but my neighbors Marge and Ed had pole position. Why? 1. They were in charge of the extra key 2. Marge’s Gingersnaps. I can still smell their cozy home, and I am happy to share Marge’s recipe with you. These, by the way, are the perfect autumnal bake-with-your-toddler cookie! Also—this dough works beautifully (says my mom) rolled out for gingerbread men and their houses. 🎃👵🏻👻🕸🍁♥️

    2. Jen, Jen, Jen… PLEASE don’t use CRISCO in ANY recipe… it’s POISON… I know you’re using an old recipe but PLEASE figure out a “healthier” replacement… maybe coconut oil or something that’ll actually NOT clog your arteries… but otherwise Good Job Jen.. really LOVE your “pretend” cooking shows, they are so much FUN to watch 👏👏👏👏👏

    3. You wonderful resilient resourceful latch key kid! My Marge was named Virginia and I learned different things to cook, but thanks to great neighbors for being there sharing and teaching.
