Hard to believe this case hasn’t been solved yet what with the head of the FBI working hard on it between keggers.

What tremendous strength she has. It’s great to see her back and no doubt her colleagues her surrounding her with love and support.

They should allow her to interview Kash Patel. First question- Where the fuck is my mom?

i can’t imagine what her and her family have been going through, i really hope they get those scumbags that most likely hurt her mother 😔

To step back in the public eye so soon after what happened must take an enormous amount of strength and bravery. While it doesn’t seem likely at this point, I hope they find some form of peace soon.

My wife lost her best friend suddenly, he was so close he was nearly my best friend too. Dude just got blipped at 30. We are still in shambles years later. But my wife and I went right back to work and hated it but also what the fuck else were we supposed to do. Work kind of helped distract us. There was no lesson to be learned or getting over it, just terrible. All we could do was just keep living. I keep hearing people judge people after loss and it enrages me. I hope work helps distract her.

I don’t know how they don’t have any answers at this point. I know they’re one of many families who grieve the unknown and it blows my mind.

My heart goes out to the whole family. They likely already feel it in the gut that their poor mother has died. I can’t imagine being in their shoes. It’s just so sad.

Good for her. It takes tremendous strength to go back with everything unresolved, but I’m glad she’s not letting the people who did this take anything else away from her. As hard and it must be to go back, I’d bet the last thing her mom would want is for her to stop living her life or lose her job because of what happened. That’s just how moms are, they want the best for their kids no matter what.

Didn’t she interview survivors a few months ago?

All while that classless son of a bitch Kash Patel was downing brewskis with the US men’s hockey team.

She is so, so strong. I’d be in pieces if my mom disappeared; the mere thought of something happening to her scares me. I hope her mom is okay, I really hope so, and that she comes back. It’s cruel, what they’re going through.

I wonder if this signifies that this is the new normal for her and her family; they have to go on living with not knowing where her mom is. Unimaginable.

She is so strong. I bet she’s been craving any sense of normalcy and hopefully returning to work helps her.

Had no idea who Nancy Guthrie was until this second. Thought it was weird that that specific kidnapping garnered national news coverage for weeks until now.

This just reminds me why it is so important to be kind to the people around you. You never know what they are going through or how much courage it took to show up that day.

A lot of crimes remain unsolved and it’s unfortunate this may be the case for her mother. I hope her and her family find peace in such a difficult situation.
50% of modern murders have gone unsolved in the U.S. long before Kash Patel became head of the FBI right. This trend will leave countless families without closure and justice.
I cannot fathom how hard it is for her to go back to work while her mom is still missing. Going back to work sounds hard any way you slice it, but BEING ON CAMERA and having so many people probably tuning in to see you sounds like such a nightmare. Praying for them.

How strong she must be having to go out there publicly and put on a happy face/be on in the face of this awful situation

Routine offers comfort and a sense of stability, even when everything else feels on fire or upside down. The predictability of most people’s day to day is exactly what gets them through the day. I can only imagine that after experiencing (and continuing to experience) something so awful, returning to that “predictability” even just a bit probably feels like a bit of a safety blanket. The comfort from her longtime coworkers probably also helps.

It’s obvious her mom is dead. I wish the kidnappers/killers would just come out and say so. It’s torture.

Savannah, I’m sorry the FBI is headed by a loser wannabe frat boy that never grew out of the husky section at JC Penney. I’m sorry that you have been failed by government institutions that used to be elite. May your mother be at peace.
