‘GMA’ co-anchor Janai Norman announces sudden exit from ABC

“Good Morning America” co-anchor Janai Norman announced her sudden exit from the talk show after 15 years on ABC. “I hope that we’d have more time,” she said in a video posted to Instagram on Saturday. “It’s been hard on me that our time was cut short. I have loved my job. It has been a joy to connect with my co-workers and with viewers, to help keep you informed and entertained, and to create this community,” Norman added. The journalist said it “really breaks [her] heart” that she didn’t “get to say goodbye” to everyone.

  1. Awhh she was such a ray of sunshine. She will land on her feet. She deserved a proper farewell. Enjoy your children I know you will get back to a job you love!

  2. Janai, you are very talented. You have a smile and personality that lights up a new set. I look forward to the next chapter in your career! ❤

  3. What a horrible way to treat an employee after 15 years of service. Committing an horrible crime should have been the only reason. But many Federal workers were treated the same way. I wonder if she said something about Trump? The same could happen to their other employees.

  4. You are so talented and beautiful. The best is yet to come. These years in America have become so depressing. You are loved and respected!
