  1. Streisand effect peeps, the Streisand effect. As much as I like Sabrina’s music, her image isn’t pristine anymore no matter how hard her and her team try. This behaviour isn’t too far off from her fellow Pennsylvanian whose name rhymes with Sailor Grift

She’s handled this so poorly I dont think it was the worst thing in the world it would blown over especially if she put out a proper apology but now her and her team are doing too much

Anything but making a proper apology. Good to know who she really is, another ignorant and entitled celebrity! Girl byeeeeeee

The streisand effect is real! I didn’t know who Sabrina Carpenter was before all this, but this is super shitty and inexcusable.

  5. The fact that she called it weird was the problem. The fact that she has no culture at her age is her problem.

Maybe we shouldn’t say “I don’t like it” after someone says THATS MY CULTURE. Outside of whether you are personally offended or not that was the dumbest response from a blonde white girl I’ve ever heard. Where did the PR training go???

  7. the streisand effect is COMING for the girls this year lmao. Chappell, Sabrina, etc. just makes it worse….Wendy Williams back then woulda had a FIELD DAY with them

I saw a blowback last night w multiple posts that seemed to be attacking the arab girl rather than the celebrity? Weird. Whats the likelihood carpenter paid some firms to start astroturfing?

Carpenters probably a bit racist and culturally insensitive. She had a good run as a darling. Now we know.

a copyright notice for a snippet is very anti-fair use and very telling.

Mexican gritos (celebration cheers) sound similar and I thought that’s what I heard at first when watching and I smiled because I’m like yeahghhh represent! Then she addressed it with that nasty look only to hear someone say “it’s my culture” and she still said she didn’t like it. My smile dropped. Not because I’m trying to cancel her but she literally rejected someone so close to my own culture showing our form of joy.

I guess everyone should clap and snap because that’s American or whatever.

  11. I’m genuinely confused how the orig post was a copyright infringement. Was it a video of her playing her set? Regardless…. This was a petty move on her part and is making it worse.😬

  12. Not her creepy ass fans downvoting everyone here! Keep it coming y’all, you and your fave are still nasty racists 😎

Maybe she uses the familial Scientologist PR team, they’re gonna be ruthless if so.

As a fan, I was disappointed when I saw the post intially but figured I and everyone else would move in the news cycle soon enough if they hadn’t already. But this is like doubling down on the issue but worse you’re getting legal/PR teams involved with normal people I always hate that.
