Back in the early 2010’s I managed the green room for a large arena.
A prominent singer with a certain very famous Christmas pop song came through and requested puppies like this. No clue where her stage team sourced them. But being the diva that she is, nobody was allowed in her dressing room all day.
She (or her team) completely ignored the puppies. The poor things sat there for 10+ hours with no care or attention. Really left me with a sour impression of the person.
I’m so glad to see Billie doing it right. For the puppy’s benefit, adoption etc, not just for a personal accessory.

Huh, so people can adopt a dog from a rescue if they’re on tour all the time but not if they have to go into an office two days a week. Cool cool.
(Obviously I’m happy for the dogs, I’m just a sourpuss about how fussy rescue centers are with the poors)
