Would You Keep Bargaining This Hard If You Only Had $800? | Married with Children

This scene turns a basic car negotiation into pure embarrassment. The customer keeps talking like a master dealmaker, pushing for a lower price while also trying to squeeze in extra perks like air conditioning, a stereo, and even more add-ons. He sounds completely confident, like he is controlling every part of the deal and winning on every front.
That is exactly why the payoff works so well.
The second the salesman asks for a serious deposit, the whole performance falls apart. All that swagger, all that bargaining, all that pretending to have the upper hand suddenly means nothing, because he does not even have close to the money he was acting like he could spend. In one moment, the tough negotiation stops looking clever and starts looking ridiculous.
What makes it so funny is how quickly fake confidence turns into public humiliation. He talks like a big spender, but the truth exposes him almost instantly.
So what do you think: was he being bold, delusional, or just hoping he could bluff his way through the whole deal?
