I really enjoy a lot of Ariana’s work but given his costar roster I find that a deeply silly thing to say.

I think he’s being very polite. I’m sure she’s fantastic and probably one of the better new people he’s worked with recently, but guy has worked with legends.

well this makes me really excited to see it!

I’m just gonna call it rn: I wouldn’t be surprised if Ariana Grande not winning for Wicked Part I ends up being viewed in retrospect as a big time snub
(Like Marilyn not being nominated for *Some Like It Hot* or Judy Garland not winning for *A Star is Born* or Angela Basset coming up empty handed every time ughh)
Ariana’s got a bright future ahead in acting. And who knows? Maybe this sequel will be as charming as DeNiro and Hathaway were in The Intern (such great comfort viewing)

Haha, eat shit Joe Pesci and Al Pacino

“The single most talented”…? I love Ari, but… given this man’s career and the people he’s starred along side? Sounds like someone has a crush 😏

I could see it…
I said this in another comment but Ari’s singing is whitney-level, her dancing is near britney-level, her acting is strong too, she co-writes her music, she’s great at comedy, and really — I can’t think of a female impersonator as good as her. (I don’t think Kate McKinnion or Maya Rudolph are as good –sorry).
I think she’s at Jamie Foxx level talent — just doing it in every field in entertainment.

I am not in her music demographic and was never into her stuff. But the work I’ve seen her come out with the past few years is phenomenal. She is an absolute pro, craaaaaazy talented, as a singer, an actor, a mimic, a comedian, you name it. She’s incredible, and while I’m not buying her albums I’m definitely buying her as a superstar. Guys. I have a feeling this is only the beginning for her.
