Everybody knows Facebook is a cesspool and I shouldn’t read comments (truly my toxic trait) but the comments on that video were straight up crazy. People acting like the hate was justified, or that it was exaggerated. I even saw people saying she was lying and that it hasn’t been 10 years. Literally they started dating in 2016, these people are denying literal facts. Unbelievable.

It’s not just a couple of accounts criticizing her its thousands of accounts egged on by the hundreds of negative articles printed about her daily tearing her apart spreading batshit conspiracy theories about her and threatening her. Ive literally seen articles criticizing her for putting her kids in pajamas that are “too expensive”. On YouTube there a literally dozens of channels dedicated to trolling her.

Legit, I do feel bad for her. No one deserves the kind of ridicule you receive for being with a “royal”. I do consider her a bit naive for as intelligent as she is to be surprised by the famously awful treatment tho. The mans mother who you are with was one of the most famous people for being harassed by the paparazzi. So much so that their terrible behavior was heavily connected to her accidental death. Megan is just too smart to ever have been hit sideways by any of that.

What’s so weird is when you really think about why they are so hated but you don’t really have a reasonable answer. They removed themselves from their royal duties, Harry felt what was necessary to protect his family due to the fear of not having what happened to his mum happened to his wife and kids. I’m starting to think the royals or the people who are running the royals are making sure William and Catherine continues to be put on a petal stool and keeping these brothers divided. So sad. I hope at some point they come together and form strong bonds cause I’m sure princess diana is heartbroken to see her 2 sons not close anymore

I try to get her to take a step back and examine her feelings, but she totally falls for anything the tabloids bark about Meghan. We do not share the same worldview. She still lives in a time period in her mind where the British monarchy is benevolent, fashionable, and something to uphold (?!). Still clinging to her rich gal hopes and dreams. So many hateful comments are her appearance, about her personality, and her and Harry’s relationship…. Someone commented on how she moved her arm. The woman can’t even breathe without getting criticized.

I don’t see much from them anymore, but I came across several of her hate accounts back when I used to have Twitter. They were rabid and deranged; coming up with all sorts of conspiracy theories about her not really being pregnant, being a yacht girl for Epstein, her mum being a drug dealer who went to prison (classic racism). How embarrassing to be an adult and invest your time in such madness!

Seeing her treatment made me realise how naïve I was about my own country back then. I’m English and don’t know anybody who cares about the monarchy at all (my family and many of my friends are republicans). I genuinely didn’t think it was going to be a big deal for a member of the royal family to marry a biracial American woman. Seeing the racist furore over every little thing she did made me feel like I was in bizarro land. Also, I don’t think it matters if she’s annoying; it doesn’t warrant the level of hate she gets.
