Pretend Cooking Show: Cowboy Cookies

#PretendCookingShow: Cowboy Cookies. ๐Ÿช #KitchenAidAmbassador You may know these as Cowboy Cookies, but growing up Mom called them Chock-Full. Made as a hearty snack (if a cookie can be hearty?) for cowboys to keep in their pockets, these cookies are chock-full of goodies: oats, chocolate chips, pecans, chocolate coated candies, coconut. Sub out what doesnโ€™t suit youโ€”with this recipe, you canโ€™t go wrong. Join Mom and me in a fit of nostalgia and ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ at our Butter Yellow @kitchenaid Stand Mixer as we make a long time family favorite together.

    1. You take such good care of your mom like Iโ€™m in tears wasnโ€™t a weird when we were young. Our parents take care of us but as we get older, we take care of our parents. God bless you that you have the means and the funds to do that not everybodyโ€™s not lucky but your mom definitely is to have you for her daughter. You both look great and by the way stole the cookies

    2. Best ad ever! I made the dough, just came back to check about refrigerating it. Of course not, we didn't do that in the 70's! By the way, I have that butter-yellow KA stand mixer, and we had those flowered pans too. ๐Ÿ˜Š
Edit: the cookies came out great, sweeter than I would prefer so next time I will cut down on the granulated. I used walnuts instead of m&ms. These ladies may never have used softened butter in Jen's childhood kitchen, but they used softened butter here; if you're using cold (as the recipe calls for) be sure to cut it up before feeding it to your Kitchen Aid. Cookies come out of the oven lovely, but not perfectly round like theirs, of course; I sense secret editing, or Garner Magic.

    3. Think Jennifer took the fart hint to get out moms kitchen when was kids , well mom is up and better be out of kitchen before she drinks her water ๐Ÿ’ง@#$%^&*(

    4. Love you Jennifer and Pat โค

    5. Ok. So sorry. But your mom seems so uncomfortable. It was uncomfortable to watch. Painful to me. Things/life simply change as we have advanced age. Idk. Out of respect for your mom maybe don't do such a focused busy activity

    6. I used to own that same KitchenAid Stand mixer but in a different color… Sadly I had to leave absolutely everything I had at the time behind when I left an abusive relationship (this was many years ago) and I've not been able to replace my stand mixer but my girls and I were able to leave and we are now safe and loved and happy
