They make most of their money from streaming and in-app purchases. The most effective way to impact their profits is to cancel your subscriptions (arcade, music, tv, fitness, etc) and just 🏴☠️ any of the Apple shows or movies if you *must* see them.
Despite what they tell you, your devices do not need to be replaced every 1-2 years. You can easily prolong the lifespan of your phone or computer by having the battery replaced and by keeping an eye on your available storage (two biggest issues I used to deal with in my tech support days).
Oh, and if you’re especially displeased with the direction the company is headed in, Tim Cook’s work email is publicly available information. While he’s not guaranteed to read the emails himself, they absolutely do get read and it’s the most effective way to have your concerns heard. Your voice matters, make it heard!
