Actress Natalie Portman is pregnant again at the age of 44 as she gets ready to welcome her third child – and first with partner, French music producer Tanguay Destable

Natalie Portman has revealed she is pregnant with her third child. The 44-year-old star made the sweet announcement on Friday, calling the unborn baby a “miracle”.
Natalie confirmed the exciting news that she and partner Tanguay Destable, 45, are expecting and said they are both “very excited. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle,” she said.
The Black Swan actress has two children from her previous marriage to choreographer Benjamin Millepied; son Aleph, 14, and nine-year-old daughter, Amalia. The pair split in 2023. Now, Natalie has admitted she knows she is lucky to be pregnant again.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, the actress said: “I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing.
“And so I know how lucky it is. I’m very aware, and I’m very grateful. I have deep appreciation and gratitude.” She went on to say the feelings are different as she gets older, saying she didn’t necessarily grasp the gratitude previously.
She added: “And there’s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day. And knowing it’s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.”
It remains to be seen whether Natalie will showcase your newborn in the public eye when she gives birth. She keeps her older kids away from public attention.
She recently told Interview magazine: ‘I’m not a particularly private person in real life – I’ll tell you anything – but in public, it was so clear early on that if you tell people how private you are, your privacy gets respected a lot more.”
She revealed the “little bit of a barrier” she put up as she refused to take on photo shoots with he children. She went on: “My kids are always a source of excitement, because you just see them develop into the individuals they are.
“Also, I’ve been spending a lot of time with my friends, with their kids and my kids; that’s pretty fun.”
Natalie and Tanguay have been romantically linked since last year. In March 2025, the duo were snapped together with images showing him with his arm around the actress’s shoulder.
They were also seen kissing while out in Paris. The musician and producer was married to French actress Louise Bourgoin.
The duo share two boys together, but split after 10 years. In his career, he previously collaborated with Lady Gaga for a film with Dom Pérignon.
