Strike them off and give someone else the spot. If they don’t believe in it they shouldn’t be included.

    >Now, the band’s manager, Rod Smallwood, has confirmed that they won’t appear at the ceremony, but only because they don’t want to interrupt the Australia and New Zealand leg of their ongoing ‘Run For Your Lives’ Tour.

    >In a statement to Billboard, Smallwood said: “As the most observant have already noticed, the band will be on tour in Australia around the November date of the Induction ceremony for the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles.”

    >He added, “In accepting, Iron Maiden made it very clear to the R&R HoF that the fans always come first and that the shows will of course go on…”

    >Smallwood went on to say: “We would like to assure all our fans in Australasia that the Australian and New Zealand dates will remain unaffected, and we look forward to bringing the Run For Your Lives Tour to them on the penultimate stop of our 50th anniversary celebrations.”

    Kindda clickbaity.

I read you have to pay for your seats if your being inducted. My question is why. Some of the earlier inductees were never rock and roll. So, who cares. I am glad they finally are getting inducted.
