      What is immensely dark and disturbing is in Romantic Homicide — the song the led to him getting an album — he sings “In the back of my mind, I killed you / and I didn’t even regret it / I can’t believe I said it / but it’s true”

      Withered was released April 25… she was discovered September 8th. So she was dead for like 4 months?!

      I hate that I loved the song Romantic Homocide. I saw a comment that asked “why aren’t they saying his real name, why are they using his artist name?” We know him as D4vd. You *will* be forced to think about this murder if you even *consider* listening to a song of his (which we should no longer be). No separating art from artist.

      I think it’s important to note that you should never tell your abuser that you will tell on them. The best thing you can do is leave quietly.

      Men need to learn how to deal with their emotions. It’s still ludicrous to me how women are the one deemed as emotional and unstable more quickly when men continuing to commit horrific acts like this in fits of fury. I honestly hope i get a son one day

      Women, please be careful out there. If your partner is abusive or aggressive, do not confront them alone. Please take someone with you or avoid it altogether if possible. I escaped an abusive relationship and 4 years later I still feel reborn and like I’m living in a whole different world.

      We have to do better for kids. As soon as anyone gets any fame at all the whole industry gives them permission to victimize those already in vulnerable positions. The only thing determining the degree of suffering is apparently how far the perpetrator is willing to go, clearly some are willing to commit outright murder and it’s like not anyone close to d4vd was working hard to expose his poorly executed crime. I’m glad he’s being prosecuted but punishment after the fact doesn’t prevent more kids from this fate in the future.

      The details of this case have haunted me ever since her body was found. 

      She was so vulnerable. The treatment of her body and seeming lack of care for her disappearance in the first place. My heart aches for her and her loved ones. 

      There really are monsters among us.

      Like he left her in the trunk of HIS car in a random neighborhood. Like that’s not self preservation, you were going to get caught.
