> The 15th and final episode of the medical drama’s second season reached 9.7 million viewers through its opening weekend, according to Warner Bros. Discovery. Additionally, Season 2 is averaging 15.4 million viewers to date across all episodes — a 50% improvement on the Season 1 average.
> Achieving that statistic makes “The Pitt” only the sixth series in the history of HBO Max to surpass an average of 15 million viewers, following “House of the Dragon,” “The White Lotus,” “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” “The Last of Us” and “It: Welcome to Derry.”

The people yearn for more TV shows with normal episode counts and consistent production schedules!

I love this show because is job focused. We know about the characters but just enough to don’t get bored. Is the closest thing we have as a job simulator, a reality show would never be able to pull this off, I feel like going to work without going to work.

Hot Take: I can’t get into it. I just can’t connect with anyone and this might be a weird comment – but the set is really boring to look at and the lighting is flat and harsh which makes it harder to connect with. I tried even skipping to Season 2 to see if it would make me come back to season 1! No luck.

What?! People like episodic story telling?
You mean to tell me all these streaming execs have been wrong with the new meta of 7 episodes every 2-3 years?

They have the same amount of seasons as the last of us and almost double the episodes.
And they’re releasing 15 more in January.
This is the kind of tv people want

Gotta say Noah Wylie kills it as his role. I’ve seen him in Librarians and Leverage Redemption and he’s always a joy to watch on screen. Love his acting chops and he’s more versatile of an actor than I thought he could be.
Really like the show.

Is it really that good?
