Shadow the Hedgehog meets Rouge the Bat (Karen Strassman or Kazumi Evans) and E-123 Omega (Scott Adsit) in Sonic Movie 4 to become Team Dark. And Black Doom in the post credits of Sonic 4.

I wonder when Paramount or Jeff Fowler will confirm what the Sonic Event Film releasing in December 2028 will be officially titled. I mean I don't expect an official title being given anytime soon but maybe later this year or next year we might know if it will actually be a Shadow spin-off film in the works and I definitely think it's gonna be about exploring Shadow's backstory and origins

I definitely think Ben Kingsley will voice Metal Sonic and he will be the main villain of Sonic 4 while Nick Offerman will voice Big the Cat and his role will be of supporting side character but will get slightly more screentime than Shadow since Shadow will probably have a short cameo appearance for the purpose of teasing his own spin-off movie

If Cream the Rabbit shows up in the Sonic 4 post credit scene I think she will me a major character at least in forming Team Rose since we could also potentially get Big the Cat in Sonic 4 as a side character if they plan the next mainline Sonic movie to be a Sonic Adventure 1 adaptation. Cream should definitely meet Amy Rose and possibly Tails in the post credit scene to confirm the next Sonic movie
If Shadow is gonna get only a cameo appearance in Sonic 4 then they should show us his fate and whereabouts and it's a great opportunity to officially introduce Rouge the Bat for the sake of teasing a Shadow spin-off film and Team Dark. I definitely think Shadow and possibly Knuckles will meet Rouge in Sonic 4 only for a short cameo appearance of course but enough to confirm a Shadow spin-off film in the works
