    1. I expected the unit to start sizzling or catch on fire once he plugged it in. I never considered you could run a 220 appliance on 110 volts just by changing the plug. Can you?

    2. people be like “you can still be happy if you’re broke, you just need to be creative” if you’re broke nowadays you can’t afford an ac unit, there are no free ones, let alone an apartment to put it in or electricity to run it with

    3. I used to be like that with my ex and her daughter….it didnt matter to her, i still got dumped after she fixed her life and got everything she wanted…it was good while it lasted but she taught me, some people deserve to stay where they are not because of luck but because thats where they belong….

    4. My mom built a AC unit from scrap metal and old tools from the dump because we were too poor using old refrigerator parts. We got free food and milk from local stores the managers liked my mom because she gave them notes to remind them she will be paying them back for everything they gave us. She got a job in a court house as a reporter and we ended up paying off everything we got free and we volunteered at homeless shelters and food banks. She taught me, respect what you got and enjoy what you earned but number one priority never give up. I taught her, What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I have suffered chronic illnesses and deadly infections and yet I am still alive at the age of 45 in July. My mom helped me, and I helped her. She passed away from cancer in 2015 and I miss her so much. 😢 I have level 2 autism and ADHD. She was my everything and still is because she left pieces of herself in me.
