I'm a 70s-80s comic book reader. I skipped the last Superman because, frankly, I have Christopher Reeve. I don't need another Superman. But Supergirl? While I adore Helen Slater (Billie Jean), we haven't ever really gotten a good Supergirl movie. That's not Helen's fault. She was beautiful and perfect in the role. But the movie was abysmal. I like the look, feel, tone of this Supergirl movie. And part of that is due to Milly. Honestly, before even seeing the full thing, I can't imagine anyone else doing what she did here. Whatever else happens with the DC movie "universe," like the Guardians, I think this will be my movie.
