Amanda Seyfried plays Jane, arriving in that same jungle with a research team and an open mind, the first human presence that has ever made Tarzan stop and look rather than disappear. What starts as curiosity becomes something neither of them has a clean word for either. Then Harrison Ford’s hunter arrives, cold and methodical and draped in the particular confidence of a man who has never once left a target alive, moving through the jungle not to study it but to take from it, and what he is hunting this time is not an animal in any simple sense. Tarzan has something this man wants, and Jane is now standing exactly in the middle of it.

Nine to eleven hours on this one. Getting the jungle atmosphere to breathe correctly through every cut, making sure the romance and the threat built at the same pace without either rushing the other. Went deep into the source material from the ground up. Multiple tools, multiple passes. Every frame earned.
