      Only Anna and Madonna had a similar oomf as Marilyn with that particular styling. Everyone else looks like they’re wearing a costume and are uncomfortable, but it looks natural on those two.

      KK had no business wearing Marilyn’s Happy Birthday, Mr. President dress some things are iconic because of the moment and the people, not because a “celeb” wants a headline. Marilyn Monroe & JFK made that piece untouchable history, not a Met Gala costume change. Imo.

      I mean, I get it but to me – it all looks so lame! Specially when they do their Marilyn impression to go with the cosplay. I haaaaaaated the Linsday Lohan one, so Im glad it didnt get added here lmao.

      Only one I liked was ANS because its mixed with her aesthetic and her appearance/vibe was her own; it didnt feel cosplay.

      Still, please retire it lol.

      I mean honestly. People can have that old Hollywood glamour style without it being trying to be a Marilyn wannabe.

      I feel like Madonna has her own version while obviously borrowing incredibly heavily. But again she kinda has her own slice of glam.

      I love Billie in that beautiful peach dress. At the same time, I never quite saw Gaga or Billie there being Marilyn but more each channeling very old Hollywood Glamor.

      The fact that K Kim didn’t even do anything with her hair, adds a little more anger to the whole look. Like looking at everyone else, and they try to get the big blonde going and here KimK is with flat ass bad platinum hair. Ugh.
