The academic program has a duration of four years and will begin in the third quarter of 2026.
The Royal family also stated that Princess Leonor will balance this period of her higher education, in accordance with the corresponding university calendar, with her institutional commitments as heir to the Crown, just as she has done during her high school period and the three years at the military academies.

I hope she can do some semesters abroad so that she can have some fun press free.
I’m really happy they made this choice – I think it’s a great message in support of Spanish public education, especially since she went to high school abroad and her sister is doing university abroad. I think we can expect her to do a Master’s or other graduate work at a prestigious university abroad after, just like her father did
