  1. It depends. Did they start dating earlier than 12 months? If so then tacky. If the relationship started after 12 months it’s not optimal but they did wait an appropriate amount of time.

  2. My late partner passed away last April, can't even imagine being engaged to someone else a year after his passing and we werent even married (like people love to remind me). Different strokes for different folks!

  3. I have absolutely no idea who these people are, but I'd thru want to get married, who cares? 18 months is a long time to wait to get remarried and he's young. Nobody should tell anyone else how long they should wait after a spouse dies after an illness.

  4. Good for him glad he is able to move on with his life, I doubt I could, I also definitely couldn't marry someone who looked almost exactly like my dead wife! But hey everyone is different.

  5. If he loved her, which I doubt, he's very shallow. I don't know who these people are but being in love with and engaged or married to someone is not easy when they pass away. Much less to be engaged or married to a other 18 months later when they pass away. This guy didn't give himself enough time to grieve, or heal. Maybe he was cheating all along!

  6. Let's see, I have lupus and graves disease I've been married 4 years, my health is slipping more and more my strength isn't the same,y husband has been threw alot with me because of it..I started getting sicker again after getting married , If I die I want him to move on find someone healthy and not be alone to long it's difficult to be with someone sick no matter how much you love them, I hope this you man and new girl will be happy..Doesn't mean he didn't love his eternally sleeping wife.
