We first become a fan of the franchise, then have deep knowledge about the franchise history then come up with fan theories about the dream movie. Finally with the magic of editing, we craft a realistic concept trailer.

Editing Details:

When I worked on this The Mummy 4 dream trailer, I intentionally kept the story simple because this is just the beginning of a new trailer series on the channel. My goal here wasn’t to go all-in on a complex plot yet, but to rebuild the world and remind viewers why this franchise works. Inspired by the upcoming film, I focused on bringing back that classic Mummy vibe—using familiar visuals, character moments, and that eerie, adventurous tone through the mummy scenes.

Story-wise, I introduced the idea of all the past mummy villains uniting into one powerful force. That instantly makes things more dangerous for the heroes, but at the same time, it gives them an edge because they’ve encountered these threats before and understand how to fight them. I also threw in a bigger concept by placing the story in New York City, teasing a possible city-wide takeover. It’s just an idea for now, something to build on if the series gains traction. Ultimately, this trailer is meant to spark ideas and inspire filmmakers to consider this kind of direction.
