A few days ahead of May the 4th (Star Wars Day), a new collectible has landed that is sure to be a hit with fans of the original trilogy.

Star Wars Souvenir Bucket – $14.99

Served with Tavern fries and Galactic Tangy Sauce

The design of the new bucket features a wrap-around view of the legendary father-son duel. The artwork captures the intensity of the battle, with the glows of the clashing green and red lightsabers set against a dark, star-filled background.

The bucket itself is black with a red carry handle that matches the Sith Lord’s blade.

Pictured above is a closer look at the black souvenir bucket and its contrasting red handle. Darth Vader holds his red lightsaber on one side, Luke Skywalker holds his blue lightsaber on another. Finally, one portion of the bucket shows Luke in a crouched pose while Darth Vader is in his background.

The lid also features a circular print of the same legendary battle, making it a perfect piece for any Star Wars display.

Galactic Cargo Fries with Star Wars Souvenir Bucket

Served alongside the bucket is an order of Galactic Cargo Fries. These seasoned Tavern Fries are accompanied by a side of Galactic Tangy Sauce for dipping.

The fries are a thicker-cut, battered fry, though we found them to be surprisingly light on seasoning and salt. While the fries were cooked well and offered a nice texture, the lack of a flavor “punch” made them feel a bit plain for our tastes. The accompanying Galactic Tangy Sauce features a prominent black pepper profile with a hint of sweetness and a distinct carrot-ginger flavor.

Ultimately, we found the pairing a bit mismatched – the condiment is unique, but it doesn’t quite elevate the fries as we had hoped. These are a solid choice for someone who prefers a plain, well-cooked fry or for those looking to experiment with a non-traditional sauce, but for us, they were just “okay.” They earn points for the unique fry type, but the missing salt makes this a bit of a miss in this corner of the galaxy.

Rating out of 7: 3

We found the Galactic Cargo Fries in the Star Wars Souvenir Bucket on the lunch and dinner menus at the Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park.
