When I was in the Army I was the driver for 3 different people. E7, W3, and a LT. The LT was the early morning still dark outside guy. So I had to drive with NVG's and he would just sleep till we got to where we were going. But since I was constantly driving 3 people at different hours I was getting almost no sleep. So I sometimes "rested my eyes" driving the LT lol. And the deep gravel on the tank trails would wake me back up. The LT had no clue because we drove in black out drive (No headlights) so it's pitch black outside, and he never wore NVGs (Night Vision Goggles). He's asleep. I'm asleep. Good times lol.
I've had to get out of my normal habits when ALL OF SUDDEN THERE'S RANDOM CONES AT MIDNIGHT AND IT'S POURING RAIN AND I CAN ONLY SEE 10 FEET AHEAD OF ME.
My friends are the second one, not cause im a bad driver they just know my beater of a car coupd get tipped over by the wind and i dont have enough fucks in me to try and stop it.
i've driven with trusted drivers and be unable to sleep then drive with the most suicidal drivers who think their good and slept like a baby. i can't fall asleep with smooth. to safe for my sleep.
There’s only one person I’m willing to fall asleep in the car with. Last time I fell asleep in the car with someone I was 19, woke up to crashing into a wall! I’ve been the designated driver ever, I don’t trust nann body!!
That’s me and my fiancé right there. She’ll sleep like a baby when I drive at the moment she drives. I can’t sleep for nothing. Doesn’t help that she can barely see above the steering wheel.

There are a lot of people in hell that wish they had three more seconds to repent❤️
The only downside of being the trusted driver is that when everyone passes out, your stuck bored by yourself driving. But on the other hand I also enjoy continued breathing, so I'll happily drive.
I always feel like if someone is driving (and I won’t be) that it’s my duty to stay away and keep them awake! Boy is it hard! Once a friend and I were driving back from uni (only 4 hours but a boring 4 hours) and we agreed to drive 2 friends back who lived in the same city, even though it was the other side of the city from us. I thought great! More people to help keep the vibes going and keep everyone awake! Nope! They watched a movie together on their laptop then fell asleep! Even more so when they realised they needed a new blow up mattress and made us also go to the shops. It was late by this point. Do i sound bitter? I swear im not! Haha
Listen you respond to me like that and we are wrecking guaranteed. Just shut up and sit there, I’ve been driving for 30 years and it’s been over 20 since I got into any trouble. So you’re gonna make it if you just shut up and sit there.

Regardless of driver skill, I'll be asleep. Nothing I do will prevent you from killing us, so for clarification, if you dont trust someone's driving, dont let them drive. Its that simple.
