Laura Dern Joins White Lotus Season 4 After Helena Bonham Carter Exit | E! News

Less than a week after Helena Bonham Carter’s departure from HBO’s ‘The White Lotus’ season four was announced, Laura Dern has officially been cast in Mike White’s series. HBO confirmed the news on social media on April 28. While this is the first time the ‘Big Little Lies’ actress will fully appear in the series, she previously had an uncredited voice cameo in season two, voicing Abby, the estranged wife of Michael Imperioli’s character during a heated phone call. The fourth season is set to follow a group of hotel guests in France amid the Cannes Film Festival.
