      Et tu, Laufey?

I mean, she looks pretty, but its yet another sheer here are my panties look. Hemline and sleeves are cute though

Cute dress, she looks amazing obviously, but I’m kind of bored with seeing this look over and over.

Oh good! It’s another pedo-bait Lolita nightie! I haven’t seen one of those in a couple of days!

    4. if those outfits aren’t for the male gaze, who’s the target then? Because I’m pretty sure women don’t want to see your panties

    5. At first I was also over another sheer dress look but actually I quite like the juxtaposition here of it being a tradwife modest style but then being sheer. Possibly not intentional but you can draw some good critique here of performative tradwife-ism and influencers selling themselves and how it’s always the standard attractive tradwife influencers who make it big

Insert the 100 comments all saying the same thing of “I’m so tired of the sexy baby aesthetic” “I’m tired of sheer clothes” “I’m tired of seeing underwear”

I love it in concept, but I feel like it being sheer doesn’t work here. Like being able to see her underwear is actually distracting versus leaving the dress, which is interesting by itself, as the focal point of the look.

Bring back real fashion!!! I’m so tired of seeing people in their bra and underwear.

I think the underlying idea behind all of these sheer+panties dresses is that the wearer can’t wear shape wear with them? It’s a flex of youth to go out without a bra or spanx?

    10. Like everyone else, I’m just over sheer dresses – I loved it when Rihanna did it back in 2014, but it’s feels like it’s just been so overdone now. At least this version has some interesting elements, especially the back, but I’m just so over the sheer dresses, and I’m glad to see that I’m not alone.

I’m also tired of sheer, but I am so relieved that she finally has something that fits her bust/shoulder area properly (it was like… months of poorly fitted busts for a while there), plus this silhouette is cute and she looks great. I feel like I almost want to see some sort of teddy or corset underneath — I think that would really make this look for me.

I can’t handle sheer when it looks like a mistake of the fabric.

    13. I remember when I was little girl, my mom would buys us these little fru-fru dresses that had some sheer to them, not much, but enough to warrant a slip. It was common to wear slips under our dresses/skirts, even when our clothing wasn’t sheer.

I miss slips. Those should be back in fashion.

Although, I will admit that if this dress had a slip, it would not be half as interesting/nice.

She looks amazing from the bust up but I am so tired of the sheer. It’s so uninspired.

Ok I’ve been over sheer dresses for a while, but I love this.

Agree on the sheer with everybody else. Also it’s refreshing to see Asian hair on the red carpet. I’m not crying you’re crying.

It could have been sooooo cute with a nude under dress. The sheer bring nothing to the styling and looks awkward.
