I didn’t mind Anthony Mackie (Sam) taking on the Captain America mantle but every time he has a new movie, people say it’s a flop and that he can’t act.
Now I wish Sebastian Stan (Bucky) would’ve been the one. ☹️
They could have tried spending a dollar on promos, first and foremost

Anthony Mackie is not a leading actor. Nobody goes I can’t wait for the next Anthony Mackie movie. He’s great as a supporting actor but not as the main lead.
I live in Saudi and at my local cinema there is only one screening of it per day.

Mackie is cool but hes not really an action star. Not even by my standards I think its subconscious that we like jawline and shit. Dude is quippy, not physically imposing and has the jawline of an aardvark. He ain’t the guy and im sorry
I just did a quick scroll through his Instagram and aside from a sudden burst of advertising there’s nothing I could find (at a glance) related to the production or anything of this movie. When did he even make this thing and where?

I saw the trailer for this yesterday and it seemed fine – I’d watch it. Kinda had a Lawrence of Arabia feel to it. Having said that, I’d never seen it mentioned until I saw that trailer.
