I feel like he would make a great producer! He comes across as good at business and appreciative of art. He’s also funny and has white privilege and if he keeps using it like this it would be good.

executive producer just slaps their names on things without doing much

It’s so interesting to see where Travis tends to spend his money. Between investing in six flags, sending Olympians and their families to the Olympics, his charity, now this. Idk, I find him to be a really interesting person overall because it seems like he’s grown so much and he is constantly working. Even in the small glimpses we’ve seen, I can understand Taylor’s quote about him being “depth without darkness.”

TK with this documentary and TS with the Toy Story 5 song are going to be competing against each other to see who can win the first Oscar.

Cool stuff from TK. Really interesting to follow his various side quests.

oh i love basquiat!!! my favourite story is how he literally walked out in the middle of a meal with andy warhol, then showed back up later with a painting of the two of them, paint still wet.

his sisters run his estate and are executive producers on the movie; theyre the first two on the list in the linked article. i’m very excited to see how this plays out!!

I like it, this is good, Im happy about this. Surprised for damn sure, but well, maybe people influencing him has broadened his horizons or maybe he just likes basquiat. either way, very cool. Im not gonna be a hater.

This is likely the work of his agents. I don’t pay attention to Travis’s business moves unless it’s been shoved in my face but there was a Sports Illustrated feature on his agents. Two Black men, actual brothers, I believe, who are the drivers of his success.

There’s no way this man would know who Basquiat was nor how to spell his name otherwise.

    9. Travis was an EP on the movie My Dead Friend Zoe which was really well done and moving. I’m definitely interested in this project now too!
