That was clever of Red giving Edna a 1 just for its joke, because I had a feeling that regardless of how good the last act was that he'd make sure he scored it so that Edna still won.

I think the last act was ahead of its time & very cleaver, The middle act had expired a decade ago back in 99, and the first act was catchy.
Red was too kind. Wrist Red Faces ever yet entertaining for all of the wrong reasons as Red Faces should be.
Rose looks the same today.
I used to watch this at my cool Aunt's house, because Mum and Dad would never relent to have it on. But every time I'd watch it, I'd think I got a bad episode, and if only I could watch it at home, every week, it would be good. I was so generous, it's complete brain slop.
English TV shows like this one are really dull.
