Saw it. More or less terrible, although she is good in it, and some of the photography is interesting. A big problem is Michaela Coel, who's extreme, albeit natural features are a consistent distraction. She's just too weird-looking. Mostly though, it's plot is an exercise in trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.

The artistry was amazing but the story was not really that great almost like did I miss something, but the fashion was great and definitely intentional

I think it's fair to say Anna Hathaway is the biggest artist/actress of her generation her transformation is phenomenal
Michaela Coel’s intro monologue was pretty on the nose. I thought it was apart of the film plot, but then the 2nd red flag was the performance lyrics chanting “this is your burial,” then the next scene’s title card said “cover your ears, this song is cursed.” I turned the movie off immediately after. They’re doing the bullshit in plain sight now. Not like it makes a difference… either y’all are so braindead y’all truly think it’s just entertainment or y’all are simply just as evil and that’s why you’re entertained. If you watched this movie any further that alone is suspicious.

You can give birth to something more powerful than yourself, so could the mother Mary have an influence in this context? There was no reason for them to love you; I lied to make you believe me.
