Lobo pursues Adam Strange and Seg-El into a Coluan natal chamber. As Lobo approaches, a forcefield slices off his arm. He then sh*ots himself in the head, destroying his body to regenerate on the other side of the barrier. The scene showcases his rapid regeneration ability.

The only problem I have with this scene is when Lobo shot and killed himself and here's why i have a problem with it. So for those who know about Lobo we all know that he can only be killed by someone that is the same species as he is now since he shot himself. Wouldn't that effectively kill him

Smart use of regeneration, to be honest. Send a body part across the gap, remove your own head, and regenerate from the other side.
