I’m sure she remembers her mother every day.
She has kept her mother’s legacy alive so beautifully. My condolences to Billie, I’m sure today (not unlike every day) is especially bittersweet.
It’s heartbreaking that Billie’s kids won’t get to feel Carrie’s extraordinary energy firsthand (and Debbie’s), but they have the most amazing archive to reach into and learn about their grandmother and great-grandmother. That must be a nice consolation
I look forward to Billie’s posts remembering Carrie and Debbie on every May the 4th, birthday, and anniversary. I love the way she carries on her mom’s legacy with using emojis to write and getting glimpses of her kids getting to know their grandmother and great-grandmother through the movies that left such an impact on us fans
